Da un'articolo apparso sul Secolo XIX del 1 Dicembre 2009

La guardia di Finanza della polizia Tributaria della Spezia, sezione Tutela Economi, ha recentemente apposto i sigilli allo studio di un noto professionista di 44 anni avente lo studio podologico in via Cavour, nel pieno centro a La Spezia, dopo l'ordine emesso dal giudice per le indagini preliminari Diana Brusacà, su richiesta del sostituto procuratore della Repubblica Raffaella Concas.

Il Podologo in questione risultava sprovvisto del titolo di Laurea o Diploma, ma in possesso di corsi abilitanti la professione che erano stati conseguiti prima dell'istituzione dei corsi di Laurea in Podologia. . In realtà una direttiva europea avrebbe dovuto abilitare i professionisti che come lui avevano sostenuto corsi specifici, ma non è mai stata approvata. Da qua la denuncia della procura.

Lo scorso Giovedì 3 Dicembre a Pisa si è tenuto un Convegno Regionale dal titolo "La riorganizzazione della formazione Universitaria delle Professioni Sanitarie nella regione Toscana: verso una scelta di qualità". Questo evento è il primo di una serie di interventi volti a riorganizzare la formazione universitaria al fine di migliorare l'integrazione e l'inserimento dei futuri Laureati nel Sistema Sanitario della Regione.
Un'ottimo campo di prova per le varie professioni ed una buona occasione di confronto e dialogo tra le varie sigle associative e tar le stesse e le istituzioni.
Purtoppo nel prender visione del programma è apparsa evidente una cosa che di certo non fa piacere alla nostra categoria, ovvero che nessuna sigla associativa e neanche un Podologo è stato inserito nel programma dell'evento ne come invitato ne come relatore.

La cosa risulta molto strana in quanto la Toscana è una delle poche se non l'unica regione italiana ad aver integrato nel proprio Sistema Sanitario i Podologi nelle proprie strutture. Tra le provincie di Massa-Carrara, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Pistoia e Firenze si contano più di 10 podologi assunti nelle strutture Ospedaliere del territorio. Questo è un ottimo esempio di integrazione che evidenzia il ruolo fondamentale che il podologo ha nel SSN; un precedente come questo può essere un importante tassello per il riconoscimento dei Podologi nei LEA con risvolti occupazionali ed un notevole miglioramento del servizio offerto ai cittadini.

Ecco perchè non è possibile rimanere fuori da una Convention sulla riorganizzazione delle professioni sanitarie, proprio in Toscana dove i Podologi sono un'esempio nazionale d'integrazione nella Funzione Pubblica.
